Mount Fuji at Lake Kawaguchiko

Mount Fuji, the tallest mountain in Japan. The classic snow peaked top, often shrouded in mystery and mist. A World UNESCO site, it has “inspired artists and poets and been the object of pilgrimage for centuries.”

You can see it from Tokyo on a clear day from Tokyo Tower. The Shinkansen from Tokyo to Osaka has super views on the right of the carriage. Or spend a day or two in Hakone or Fujinomiya.

Travel to Japan for the very best culture, arts, people and landscapes.
